Your responsibilities as Routing Specialist / Specialist for route planning
Support the team with the process of designing and implementing flexible, personalized and scalable routing approaches that combine different modes of transportation (public transport, walking, bikesharing, carsharing etc)
Apply and also invent flexible routing speedup techniques taking the dynamic nature of the problem into consideration
Work cooperatively in interdisciplinary teams to propose and implement innovative ideas in the field of mobility
Your profile as Routing Specialist / Specialist for route planning
PHD University Graduate
Strong theoretical and practical background in the field of routing for both street and transit networks
Experience in applying speedup techniques for routing on time-(in)dependent networks
Strong background in graph theory and multi-objective optimization
Strong background in linear programming is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Good German language skills is a plus
