Hallo,

eine Frage an alle, hat jemand Erfahrungen, ob auf Windows 95 Delphi 7E lauffähig ist. Ich habe vor, auf einem altem Laptop dies als Alternative zu nutzen.

Warum um himmels willen willst Du Win95 nutzen? Wenn der Lappi älter ist dann knall dir Win98 oder am besten Win 2000 drauf und gut ist.

hm.. win98 würde ich wohl draufpacken. Aber eigentlich ist XP recht ressourcenfreundlich, finde ich. Taktfrequenz ist recht unwichtig, Arbeitsspeicher zählt (und Festplattengeschwindigkeit). Wenn dein Schlepptop nicht zu alt ist rüste das Ding auf 192 MB RAM auf. Dann optimieren, alle überflüssigen Dienste beenden... ich habe mal ein Notebook mit 266 MHZ auf 192 MB RAM aufgerüstet mit XP, und das lief ganz ordentlich (nach Optimierung vor allem). Achtung wegen der Arbeitsspeicherkompatibilität, der beliebte BX-Chipsatz kann von manchen Arbeitsspeichermodulen nur die hälfte ansprechen (z. B. von einem 256-MB-Modul nur 128 MB)...

mit Visual Studio hättest du vermutlich schon verloren...
