Hi,

I have just installed Delphi 2005. After that I tried to install TntUnicodeControls from TNTWare, but I copied every singe file from the unzipped file into the Lib-directory without preserving the original directory structure. This showed up to be wrong and the installation failed.

Afterwards I uninstalled Delphi 2005 and deleted the whole Delphi 2005 root library. I installed Delphi 2005 again, and after that I once more installed the TntUnicodeControls, this time preserving the directory structure after your advice. It went without problems and the new TNT tool palettes showed up as expected.

BUT, when I now start a new ordinary W32 application with just one Form and want to compile this little project I get this message:

[Fatal Error] F1026 File not found: 'C:\Programmer\Borland\BDS\3.0\lib\TntUnicodeVcl_R90.dpk'

Allthough I earlier had tried to install TnTUnicodeVcl_D90.dpk in the Lib root directory (with ALL the files from TntUnicodeCobtrols), I afterwards unistalled Delphi 2005 and deleted everything left in the Delphi directory. So I simply don't understand why a simple application with just one TForm - and which do not use the TNTUnicodeControls - need this file (as the error mesage tell me)

Somehow there might be something that I did not delete, so that now Delphi 2005 "think" that it need the run-time package TntUnicodeVcl_R90.dpk. I have tried to search my whole C-harddisk, but nowhere I found this filename TntUnicodeVcl_R90.dpk except in the downloade and unzipped directory on my desktop.

Can anybody solve this problem for me. If not I might have to format my whole harddisk in order to get rid of the problem. This would be real har work.

I really look forward to an answer

Best Regard
Lars
